Racing at Rossignol

Rossignol develops and manufactures the best skis for its HEROS. It is a high-performance and innovative equipment. Indeed, it allows all the competition enthusiasts to accomplish their dreams and live their emotions to the fullest.

Racing skis

Racing skis meet the regulations of the FIS (International Ski Federation). They are narrow and rigid, with specific dimensions by discipline.

Giant skis are much longer than Slalom skis (at the waist versus 165cm for Slalom for men and at the waist versus 155cm for Slalom for women). They therefore have narrower tips. The radius is also larger. A large radius allows you to negotiate long curves with much more speed and stability.

These skis are reserved for expert skiers and require a perfect technique to be skied.

High level athlete or competitive runner, you want to shine during your races and optimize each of your lines thanks to state-of-the-art equipment. However, you need to choose the specific product from the Race Expert range, depending on your discipline and your needs.

HERO Athlete GS Pro / ROSSIGNOL

Inspired by the Look patent with the DLC found on Tessa Worley’s giant skis, especially in the World Cup. The “Hero” performance slope range will evolve next winter.

Derived from the DLC, the minds of the engineers of Moirans have created the LCT technology (for Line Control Technology). It consists in obtaining the effects of a hydraulic damper like the DLC.

For the general public, this innovation will not be visible because it is integrated into the structure of the ski. Without going into too much detail, it takes the form of a vertical titanium plate placed on its field and clamped between two pieces of elastomer on the length of the ski, in the wood core.

This technology can be found on the Hero range. This one opts for red after orange – on the Short Turn, Long Turn and Multi Turn, a small novelty which presents the dimension lines of a slalom ski but with a 78 mm skid, which makes it less exclusive.
