The ski construction is based on our innovative 3D Radius Sidecut technology. This allows the rocker design in the tip and tail to be optimally adapted to the three radii of curvature, which follow one another in a smooth flow, and provides a very stable and smooth ride at high speeds and in demanding piste conditions. To optimize the transmission of support and cushioning, the Deacon V.WERKS has a 0.7 mm thick Titanal frame that reinforces the most stressed areas in the tip and tail. This remarkably technical and complex design gives the ski unprecedented liveliness and stability at high speeds. The IPT Lowride binding system is lighter than the previous model and has been integrated into the ski body using an intricate process, contributing to exceptional support transmission. The Deacon V.WERKS is especially suited for skiers who want an all-mountain ski that combines extreme versatility, power, lightness and high sportiness, and allows for relaxed skiing in all snow conditions.

It's becoming a habit: as soon as you think you can't do any better, the Völkl research and development team is there to prove you wrong. The Deacon V.WERKS Edition is no exception to this rule. The premium model with a skate width of 84 mm and a weight of only 1,830 g (177 cm length, without binding) is distinguished by its innovative Tailored Carbon Tip and Tailored Carbon Tail. Never before has a ski been able to control the transmission of pressure so precisely in the areas of greatest stress without sacrificing any of its potential in terms of dynamic behavior and liveliness. For the first time, the carbon fibers are no longer uniformly integrated as a fleece, but instead are arranged on the ski body by means of a sewing process in such a way that the orientation and thickness of the fibers perfectly match the functional requirements of each ski section. Since the performance of a ski is primarily determined by its properties in the tip and tail area, most of the carbon fibers are concentrated precisely in these areas, where they will provide maximum benefits. The result is incredibly lively and responsive performance on all types of slopes, with minimal effort required from the skier.
