Program: Backcountry Freestyle Available Sizes: 182cm Ukiyo (浮世, "floating, fleeting, or transient world") describes the urban lifestyle, especially the pleasure-seeking aspects, of Edo-period Japan (1600–1867). With a 115mm waist width and a generous 152mm wide tip, we set the tone at the outset with the introduction of our UKYIO model in the Wide Skis Category. The ski flies over the snow and plays with the relief, thanks to its short under-foot radius and smooth transitions to the tips. It turns on a head pin and in a heart beat, squeezes through the trees and slashes the slightest accumulation of snow. Light front and rear rockers make it hover like no other in powder and the solid flex along the running length keeps you in full control of your turns. A new generation of skis comes to life, inspired by snowboarding.

KEY MATERIALS & TECHNOLOGIES • Blizzard Camber Long progressive front rocker for float in powder, camber under foot and back rocker for switch landings and flowing turns. • Textured DNA Bioplastic Topsheet Plant-based (50%) topsheet with improved resistance to impacts and scratches thanks to its texture. Reduced snow adherance properties, allow the skis to slide through powder with less friction. • Zero-VOC Resin These skis are assembled using our Zero-VOC Resin. It is a long-lasting and high-performance alternative to classic epoxy resins, with no harmful vapours, something unique in the industry. • Electra 4000 Graphite Sintered Base This ultra-premium high-molecular density base is our ultra-premium option. Reach mind-blowing speeds on any terrain and snow temperature. High impact-resilience and great wax-absorption. • Transmission Core To avoid using carbon in our skis, we developed a new kind of woodcore built from paulownia for its lightness, poplar for its durability and with unique bamboo inlays for homogenous power transmission. Light, dynamic and stable at high speeds.
